Prospecting with helicopter
In regions with light or no vegetation and with large areas of outcrops, a helicopter can be an excellent means of strategically prospecting.
Allowing fast observation over large surfaces. Helicopter prospecting makes it easy to spot hydrothermal alterations, iron peaks, old explorations, specific layers like chert (flint nodes), jasper, carbonated rocks, compact masses, etc.; veinlets, fissure areas, contacts, mineral lens (chromites), mineralized stratums, etc..
Considering the costs of a helicopter, it is also necessary to take the most complete geophysical prospecting equipment (gamma detector, magnometer, etc).
