Effect Rock Feed Size on Grinding Mill Capacity
Power and capacity both vary directly with mill length within limits. A definite amount of power is required per foot of mill length and each foot of mil length provides a definite amount of capacity. Power also varies directly with mill speed within practical limits. Capacity is affected by ore parameters such as hardness and feed size. Increased ore hardness decreases capacity. The effect on mill capacity by varying feed size is shown below.
